Placing an order

(Q) How to place order?

(A) Registered and unregistered users on our website are able to place order. Only Paypal checkout allows unregistered users. Users are required to register for bank wire transfer, check or credit card payments. You can follow these steps for placing an order:

Registered and Unregistered User using Paypal check out:

  1. Select the product that you would like to purchase, and add it to cart
  2. Click on “Proceed to checkout” on the popup window indicating the item you want to purchase.
  3. Click on Paypal check out button below the shopping cart summary and you will be brought to Paypal website.
  4. You will see the item details and amount to be paid. Our Paypal account name is Checkway  Electrotech
  5. Login to your Paypal account and make sure the shipping address is correct as we will use that address in shipping your order.
  6. Once payment is made you will be redirected back to our website for confirmation of the order.

Registered Users for wire transfer, check or credit card payments

  2. Sign in to your account on the top right corner
  3. Select the product that you would like to purchase, and add it to cart
  4. Click on “Proceed to checkout” on the popup window indicating the item you want to purchase.
  5. Fill in the billing address and shipping address details (If shipping address is the same as billing address, then check on the box ” Use the delivery address as the billing address.” otherwise choose the second option)
  6. At Checkout – Shipment & Payment page, please fill in these information shipping method, declare value, order remark and payment method
  7. Select the payment method you wish to use e.g. bank wire transfer, check, paypal or credit cards.

(Q) I am not able to find the product in your website, what can I do?
(A) Please contact our Team, who will attempt to source the item you desire from elsewhere at no additional cost.

(Q) The item that I want is out of stock, what now?
(A) Although we try to have a stock level that will keep up with expected demand, certain items that are highly popular will run out of stock, in that case we suggest you check back on our website on the next day. If product is re-stocked, you will see it online.

(Q) Do you offer warranty on your products?
(A) Yes, you can find our warranty rate during check out.

(A) We can accept payment in form of bank transfer, paypal and credit cards.

(Q) Should I include the bank transfer fee?
(A) Yes, to make sure shipment is dispatching at faster timing, we suggest you to make sure that bank fees are included for both sides, so that we received payment in full amount. For overseas or international bank transfer charge, please check with your local bank service..

Shipping & Delivery

(Q) How long does it take to process my order?
(A) We can ship order within 48 business hours after receipt of full payment.

(Q) How long will It be before I receive my order?
(A) We offer free international regular shipping to your destination. We will usually ship an item out within 48 hours after received of full payment, so on the safe side you should calculate the shipping time as such = processing time (48 hours) + shipping time (10-30 business days). Please note that shipping time is only an estimate without delay from custom clearance. We can also offer expedited shipping via DHL, UPS, EMS or any other courier of your choice at additional cost, please contact us if you would like to avail the service.

(Q) Do you provide tracking number?
(A) Yes, all services have tracking system, you can track the status after shipment dispatched.

(Q) How do I change my shipping address before dispatched?
(A) If order is placed, we are not able to change the shipping address, the only way is to cancel the order and replace again. In that case you will need to inform us promptly for cancellation, before placing a new order.

(Q) How do I change my shipping address after dispatched?
(A) Once shipment left our warehouse, we have little control over it, however we can request our courier partner to re-route to your new address. Please take note that there is no guarantee that re-route will be successful. Re-route surcharge may apply for this request.

(Q) My shipment has taken longer duration than usual, what should I do?
(A) If you have any concerns regarding your shipment status, please feel free to email us, we are happy to assist you and resolve your issue.

(Q) What is remote area surcharge?
(A) Despite all the shipping costs for all the countries stated in our website, some extended areas like rural, remote and less-accessible locations may require extra charges. Our system will auto look up your postal code, in cases where it falls under remote area, the charges will show up in your check out page.

Warranty & Replacement

(Q) What should you do in case of the purchased item/s is in faulty condition?
(A) Checkwayelectrotech suggested you to email us firstly. We had been able to fix 40% of the product defect with simple repair advice over the email. A return merchandise authorization form (RMA) will be sent to you, upon approval of this form you can proceed to send back the product.

(Q) What is your return policy?
(A) We offer 7 days Dead on arrival (DOA) and 12 months warranty. For more detail information please refer to our T&C.
 Order

Once you placed an order successfully, a confirmation email will be sent to you. We will attend to your order within 24hours. Below are the few stages in our order processing before your order is shipped.

  • Stage 1: Each payment must pass credit check before proceeding to the next stage.
  • Stage 2: Order processing team will prepare the relevant document – export document and airway bill for your shipment.
  • Stage 3: Your order will be packed along with the prepared documents in the warehouse.
  • Stage 4: Hand over your order to the courier company. Record your tracking number in our system and notify you.

Order cancellation: If you want to cancel the order which you have paid, you must write to us in email. Please send to sales@checkwayelectrotech.com. In any circumstances where your communication is not prompt and your order has been shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order. Checkway Electrotech will not be liable for this. We might also charge order cancellation fee which the amount is decide by us.

Payment

We accept Credit Card, Paypal and Bank Transfer. However, due to increasing number of fraud problems, we only accept credit card or PayPal payment for invoice not exceeding USD 1000.

Credit Card User Verification

The security code (also known as CVV2 or CVC2) is a 3 digit number found on the back of the card. The reason we request a security code is to ensure that the person using the card actually has it in his or her possession.

Please ensure your shipping address is your billing address. If required, we will request for supporting document, i.e credit card bill statement displaying your address.

PayPal User Verification

We only accept payment from verified account with confirmed address. We understand that a confirmed address is not possible for certain countries; therefore we may accept payments with unverified addresses, depending on the outcome of the verification process. If required, we will request for supporting document, i.e utility bill displaying your shipping address.

Secure Transaction for Credit Card and Paypal User

We trust only genuine buyers have interest to ensure Secure transaction is carried out for both ends. If you choose not to cooperate with us during verification process, we reserve the right to cancel your order and refund your payment without any advance notice.

Bank Transfer Payment

If you choose to use bank transfer payment method, you don’t have to pay the 5% handling charge by paypal. Nevertheless, you will need to pay for the international and our local bank transfer charge. For overseas or international bank transfer charge, please check with your local bank service. We request for full payment before processing order.
